Chivas Regal 18 — Indulgent Tasting Program

The Client

Chivas Regal blends together Scotland’s rarest single malt whiskies, and matures them for at least 18 years.

The Project

Egelnick and Webb were engaged to elevate the positioning of Chivas Regal 18 and rebuild the momentum that it had lost in the few years since launch into their global tasting events.

The Approach

To create a luxurious and contemporary design direction, with a hint of exuberance. The key tool was the development of an ‘Indulgent Tasting’ program, a global initiative to invite potential lovers of Chivas Regal 18 to taste and appreciate the depth of flavours within the blend.

The art and history of blending whisky was compared to that of Valrhona, a French luxury brand and one of the foremost chocolate makers in the world. A series of chocolates were developed to compliment the flavours of the key single malts that go into the final whisky blend.
