Jonathan Kelsey — Identity and Art Direction

The Client

Jonathan Kelsey launched his label in the winter of 2007, following a four-year stint at Jimmy Choo. Alongside his own range, Jonathan continues to collaborate with other brands and has worked with Mulberry, Emilio Pucci, Cacharel, Strenesse and Gina, as well as catwalk projects with Giles Deacon, Luella and Matthew Williamson.

The Project

Jonathan approached Egelnick and Webb following our collaborations with him at Jimmy Choo. He wanted us to help him develop a brand that represented him as smart and sexy, and this thought-process went into every aspect of his brand development from his logo mark, typography, colour palette and application on packaging, to look book, online communication and art direction.

The Approach

We worked closely with Jonathan for several seasons to meet his ambitions of pushing design to its limits. Every touch point of our design deliverables were a reflection the individual look and style of the collections.

Objects of Desire Client Testimonial Having worked successfully with Egelnick and Webb for many years at Jimmy Choo, they were my first and only choice when launching my own shoe line. From the early concept stages of the brand, through to final realisation of marketing materials, logo design and packaging they proved to be incredibly understanding of my ideas, even pushing them further. Their design work always pushed my expectations and was produced in a considered and sleek finish. Attention to detail is always perfect. Jonathan Kelsey Director - Jonathan Kelsey Jonathan Kelsey
