Giles Deacon demonstrated his ability to work at the high-craft level of couture and fashion. In reaction to the ‘look at me’ trend driver of previous seasons, his designs were well considered, evocative of the nineteenth century when females chose to ‘button-up.’ The mystery came with what came beneath, alluding to a more wild side. The collection was very befitting to the venue, The Royal Courts of Justice, and explained the official summons by way of invitation to show. Justice was served.
