We caught up with one of our favourite clients, Fashion East, at their SS15 menswear show. The event, now in it’s 9th year was brimming with up-and-coming designers who have been granted a platform to showcase unique concepts that aimed to redefine menswear in London.
Moving away from the rigid display window genre of a catwalk show, the event offered a hands-on exhibition experience with background music provided by native rhyme slugger Rejjie Snow.
Alan Crocetti, Edward Crutchley and Martine Rose were among the line-up of designers who set a new benchmark for menswear in london at the envelope pushing affair in association with Red Bull Catwalk Studio.
Our favoured range was Crutchley’s exciting blend of Indonesian/Japanese pattern print with modern street wear style. Crutchley, known for working with Louis Vuitton & Kanye West as a textile consultant, took pride in the fact the he wanted to ‘actually make clothes’. We loved how he successfully demonstrated that you can push boundaries while maintaining wearability and relevance.
