John Lewis and Co. is launching today to coincide with the opening of Westfield Stratford City.
Having created the brand identity for John Lewis’ new menswear range John Lewis and Co. we can’t wait to see it in store. The identity will be rolled out across a collection of garment labels and swing tickets and extended to the in-store concept.
John Lewis wanted to create a new menswear range of authentic clothing with a heritage feel, timeless and classic. Our first step was to visit the John Lewis archive which holds a wealth of material which we were able to draw inspiration from: collections of hand-printed swing tickets, a Ticket writers guide from the 1950’s, the detailing and typesetting of past collections brochures from various stores around the country.
A preview of the range is below and today sees John Lewis opening of their first new London store in 20 years so it’s a big day for our identity for John Lewis and Co, and John Lewis at Westfield Stratford City.
